Lesson 22: The
Rules of Noon
Saakinah and Tanween, part 2
the complete merging ادغام كاملand the incomplete merging ادغام ناقص
There are two subdivision of the Idgham الادغام:
1.
A complete merging ادغام كامل
Which means Merging the Noon
completely
·Merging Its sound (the
articulation point or the Makhraj of the Noon )
·Merging its characteristic غُنة
2.
An incomplete merging ادغام ناقص
Which means Merging the Noonsound (the articulation point or the Makhraj of the Noon
)
But its characteristic غُنةremains
This is done when the Noon Saakinah or Tanween are at the end of
a word and are followed by a يor a و as
the first letter of the next word, the Wawوor the Yaa يare written
without a Shaddah w
The
complete merging ادغام كاملis divided into
·A
complete merging without Ghunnah ادغام كامل بغير غنة
This is done when the Noon Saakinah or Tanween are at the end of
a word and are followed by a لor
a ر as
the first letter of the next word.
·A
complete merging with Ghunnah ادغام كامل بغنة
This is done when the Noon Saakinah
or Tanween are at the end of a word and are followed by a مor
a ن as the first letter
of the next word.
, since the Noon completely
merges in to the ل , رor م
, ن and there is no left over Ghunnah from the Noon. When there is this type of Idghaam, the Noon is
not pronounced whatsoever, instead the reciter proceeds from the letter before
the Noon or the vowel that is with
the Tanween, directly to the first letter of the next word which will have a Shaddah
(the little w) on it because of the Idgam (merging).
In
this video we will read and exercise more words from The Rules of Noon Saakinah
