Madd Al-Badal can simply be defined as
(every Hamza preceding aMadd letter).
Madd Al-Badal, if not followed by a Saakin letter or Hamzah, is prolonged only
2 beats or counts.

Examples

ءَادم , إِيمانا , أُوتو

These  above words were originally as follows :

أأدم , إِئمانا , أُؤتو
As seen these words originally had two hamzah, the first one had a vowel and the second  a sukoon.
the second hamzah was changed into a Madd letter from the category of the vowel of the first hamzah.

when troubles begun(How did the story....21)

Islam...a long story,

How did the story begun ? (21)

when troubles begun

Time passses , one day the Archangel Gabriel came to the Prophet ,peace and blessings of allah be upon him, and ordered him to start preaching openly to everyone. thus, the Prophet (pbuh) told the people of Mecca that he had something very important to tell them. He stood on a hillside in Mecca, called Safa, and they gathered around to hear what he had to say. He started by asking them if they would believe him were he to say that an army was about to attack them. They answered that indeed they would, because he never lied. He then told them that he was the Messenger of Allah, sent to show them the right way, and to warn them of terrible punishments if they did not follow him in worshipping only Allah and none other. Abu Lahab, one of the Prophet's uncles who was among the listeners, suddenly stood up and said, 'May you perish! Did you call us here just to tell us this?'

The Lesser Connecting Madd مد الصلة

The Lesser Connecting Madd مد الصلة

In this lesson of Tajweed Rules we will talk about
Madd Silah soghra[Lesser connecting Madd]

مد الصلة الصغرى
Madd Silah Kubra [ The Greater connecting Madd]
مد الصلة الكبرى

It is lengthening the letter ـه when it’s a pronoun referring to a single male, using a و for
ـهُ and a ي for ـهِ ,
provided that the letter before the ـه AND the letter after the ـه do not have a sukoon .

Examples

There are two types of connecting madd:
1. The Lesser Connecting Madd: If the letter after the ـه is not a ء. Length: 2 counts (appended to natural madd)

2. The Greater Connecting Madd: If the letter after the ـه is a ء. Length: Same as separate madd
Please notice the 2 exceptions on the right:
1. Conditions not met, but madd applied
2. Conditions met, but madd not applied

A Hadeeth in Modesty and Courtesy towards the Believers

Allah, the Exalted, says:
"And be kind and humble to the believers who follow you.'' (26:215)
"O you who believe! Whoever from among you turns back from his religion (Islam), Allah will bring a people whom He will love and they will love Him; humble towards the believers, stern towards the disbelievers.''

Actions are evaluated according to one's intention

Actions are evaluated according to one's intention

this is one of the prophet's greatest Ahadeeth about intention

The Beauty of Islam

محاسن الإسلام the beauty of Islam

Islam, brought by the messenger of Allah Mohammad -peace and blessings of Allah be upon him-is the best and most complete religion .it has contained the beauties , perfection, goodness, mercy, justice and wisdom.the things that no other religion contained. and from this beauties and qualities:

A.social solidarity:

solidarity in Islam is a comprehensive cooperation on the call to do good and remove evil; and protect the weak, and the livelihoods of the poor and needy ( providing them with their needs)
and the sense of all that befalls AL jama3a( the group).

Allah the almighty said: "and cooperate in righteousness and piety; but do not cooperate in sin and aggression".sura AL-maaida:2
the types of social solidarity:

zakat is one of the principle means of achieving social justice in Islam.the latter has made it one of the pillars of religion and a necessity of the faith, and to its importance , it was paired with salat in dozens of places both in Quran and sunnah, Allah the almighty said:" and establish prayer and give zakat and bow with those who bow (in worship and obedience)".al baqara 43. and he said:"( [And they are] those who, if We give them authority in the land, establish prayer and give zakah) .hajj :41
And zakat i is also a mean of social security , brought by Islam, as the latter refuses to have in its society people who can’t find or afford sufficient Sustenance, a dress that may cover him, or a house to shelter him.
Charity
In addition to zakat, Islam calls to charity and (Righteousness) piety, and Endears voluntarily spending and pending the satisfaction of Allah and its repayment in life and in the hereafter, and avoiding Allah anger and its punishment.Allah the almighty said:( Who is it that would loan Allah a goodly loan so He will multiply it for him and he will have a noble reward?) Al hadid .11and the messenger of Allah-peace and blessings of Allah be upon him- said”: every day when sun rises, there are two angels:one says” o Allah give Almsgivers more, and an other angel says:o Allah damage the one who doesn’t give alms” narrated by Muslim.
So Islam calls the generous gently , and pushes the mean to give more as Allah the almighty accepts charity with his right hand, and raises it to its owner just the way anyone of us raises his baby horse until the fruit becomes as big as the mountain of Ohud.
Expenditure
Islam made it obligatory on the head of the family(father) types of expenditures,on his wife, his children,on his parents if they are unable or under his care.and he gets ,despite that, a charity and ajr(gain in paradise) if he bares that in his mind , the messenger of Allah- peace and blessings of Allah said-“ if a Muslim spends on his family and he had a charity Seeking reward thereby’ ihtisab’(for the sake of Allah) it will be as the reward of a charity to him”. Narrated by al bukhari.
the rights of Muslims
zakat is not the only right in money, but it is the periodic right by which islam reached the highest degrees of Binding, besides; there are other rights that circumstances imposes , and needs present, and these rights are often left to the Muslim’s coscience and to his pure feelings that were raised in him by Islam, as it has no specific amount or time. and if the amount of zakat was not sufficient for the needy ; then rich Muslims have to provide enough to the poor.and if they did not do that willingly, they will be obliged by sultan(authority) in the name of char3(Islamic law) which commanded solidarity among Muslims, And considered them like a structure, or as one body, as he is not a believer who sleeps full , while his neighbor is hungry by his side.
the love of work
Evidence for the privilege and virtue of working
Work is one kind of worship in its general meaning, as man was created to occupy with good and to the good in general, Allah the Almighty said: « It is He who made the earth tame for you - so walk among its slopes and eat of His provision » al mulk(15) and he said : «He has produced you from the earth and settled you in it » hud(61)
the messenger of Allah –peace be upon him –pushed his companions to work and urged them on it, he said : ‘ i prefer that anyone of you packs firewood and carries it on his back to sell it, rather than begging someone, who may accept or refuse’.narrated by Muslim. and a Muslim should never give up work under the pretext of worshiping Allah, as his work to earn his living and the one of his family, is also a kind of worship.

it is narrated that Omar- may Allah be pleased with him- saw some people after salat(prayer) sitting in Almasjed because of tawakkul( trusting and depending on Allah) so he urged them to go saying his famous word : ‘no one of you should stay without earning his living and just says :o Allah grant me !! and he knew in advance that sky does not rain gold nor silver’.
Conditions of the prophets and their quest to work

All prophets used to work and eat by earning their living, with the testimony of the prophet mohamad-peace and blessings of allah be upon him-as he said:” all the prophets allah sent were shepherds”?the sahaba said:and you rasoul allah? He said: I used to work as a shepherd on carats to people in makkah’ narrated by al bukhari.
And he- peace be upon him-said: ‘to eat from what you earn with your own hands is the best thing, and prophet daood(david) used to earn his living’ narrated by al bukhari.
And Thus did the imams of Islam, and the righteous, that wau they were named:the bazzar; the locker, glass maker,al kharraz, Al-Qattan, al jassas; etc.
The five essentials
the five essentials are : Keeping religion, and keeping the self, and keeping the mind, and keeping birth control and honor, and keeping money.and these five are the highest levels of the chari3a,in fact it is the main goal the descent of Islamic law, and it is important to the interest of religion and life, as life would imbalance if these essentials were lost.

Natural Madd المد الطبيعي

Natural Madd المد الطبيعي

In this lesson of Tajweed rules we will talk about natural lengthening or natural Madd.

It's definition :The natural Madd is simply
one of the Madd letters [ا,
ى, و  ] not followed
by a Hamzah ( ء) or a Saakin letter.

It is named [ original أصلي ]
because it is the origin of all Mudood.

the messenger of allah's last khotba(sermon)-PBUH

bsmlh Hadhrat Shaikhul Hadith Maulana Yusuf Motala

this is our prophet's last khotba. in this latter the sahaba has wept as it was a heart touching one. it was really the khotba of someone saying farwell to his ummah_salla allaho 3alaihe wa sallam_
in it the messenger of allah has given his ummah clues of happiness, as they will never fear or be unhappy in their life if they respect them. the important of wich is to take care of women as they are the past ,the presnt and the future of this ummah, if the woman was good, well brought up on islamic values , our generation will be a good one; the prophet peace be upon him knew that the suuccess of his ummah will be in the hands of woman like the sahabeyat; and the defeat of the ummah will also come from women who are very far from islamic values. the last sermon of the prophet was a great and rich one , read it to know about the other issues discussed in it and make your comments:

The linguistic definition :

Idghaam means: -

It is the mixing or enteringof a Saakin letter(a non-voweled letter) into a Mutaharrik letter(voweled letter) following it,

or the two letters become one emphasized letter of the second type.

Iqlaab

If there is a letter BAA ب after the Noon Saakin or Tanween, Iqlaab will take place.

fatwa about "Zakaah on salary and rent money"

Question

Dear Imam. My friend has a property with annual rental income of $15,000. He uses this money for family use. He also owns a piece of land worth $16000. At the same time he has a loan from the bank to the amount of $30,000. He is employed with 6 figure salary but his savings are Zero. He intends to pay off loan as soon as his financial situation improves. My question is How much should he pay for Zakah?

Answer

All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) is His slave and Messenger.
It is an obligation to pay Zakaah on the salary and rent money if it reaches the Nisaab (the minimum amount liable for Zakaah) and if it stays in one’s possession until a whole lunar year elapses over it; in which case, he should pay off 2,5%. However, if he spends it before a whole lunar year elapses on it, then he does not have to pay Zakaah on it.
As regards the debts that your friend has, then if he has property – like estates and/or lands – on top of his necessary needs, and he can use it to pay off all his debts, then he should pay Zakaah on all his savings from the salary or from the rent if the condition that we mentioned above is met, and he should not deduct from it the amount of his debt.
